History

Initially, "ENL NF" - Enlightened Notification Filter began in 2015 as a project for the Enlightened community within Ingress. As the developer's focus has broadened beyond faction-specific concerns, the app has evolved. Recognizing its continued utility due to the ongoing challenge of unmanageable official Ingress notifications, it has been made available for everyone, and we are now fully committed to supporting all Ingress agents, regardless of their faction.

While the app is now officially NF, its domain, links, and package names retain the original "ENL NF" identifier. Note that blue themes are also available within the app!

Development paused 2020-2025 as Android's constant requirement changes for background services were exhausting and I lost interest. Got motivated again in 2025 and rebuilt everything from scratch. Works better than ever now.
